Orthdex is a database for storing the indexing records of orthodontic patients.
It uses a web interface for data collection and display, and automatically calculates PAR scores.
It can be used to supply the sample practice data required for NHS auditing.
You can enter indexing details as quickly as if you were writing them down. After using the system a couple of times you might even find it faster than using a pen and paper. A new indexing record can be added in less than one minute.
Records for the various indexing stages are shown side by side, along with percentage changes for PAR. A Details page is also available showing individual index elements.
All patient details are entered on a single page. All indexing data is also entered on a single page. You can enter numeric data using the numeric keyboard and the system will automatically move on to the next data field, so you don't have to keep on pressing the Enter key.
The Peer Assessment Rating (PAR) index is calculated the moment you enter your data.
All records for a patient can be displayed on a single screen, including percentage differences in PAR scores after treatment, and percentage differences after review.
At any time you can download your patient records for local storage on your own computer, where they can be viewed in spreadsheet format.
Supplying sample practice data for NHS audit is a laborious process if you hold manual records. With Orthdex, simply download your records in electronic format and select the ones you wish to submit.
